Developing interpretable workflows in which acoustic measurements can directly control sound transformation and musical form. Praat AudioTools is the principal platform for this work.

Research on data-driven and AI-based approaches to musical analysis and creation, including the relationship between measurable musical structure and perceived complexity.
Performance and multimodality
Work connecting sound, movement and expressive performance through synchronized data, with an emphasis on the additional information produced when modalities are analyzed together.
Technology as compositional material
Interactive systems, algorithmic structures, spatial audio, audiovisual environments and software instruments designed as parts of the composition itself rather than as neutral production tools.
