Formant Grain Texture — User Guide
Praat script.
What this does
Praat script.
Process Description: This script implements an imaginative synthesis technique called Formant Granular Synthesis, which combines the microscopic control of Granular Synthesis with the vocal quality of Formant Synthesis. Instead of simple tones or noise bursts, each tiny sound event (grain) is a synthetic vowel sound. The overall texture is a constantly shifting, murmuring choral cloud.
