The double
music for flute and processed flute (2003)
premiered in Bar-ilan University.
The composition can be played in 2 versions:
1. Live amplified flute with “tape” i.e. with quadraphonic media (processed
flute), usually played through
Max/MSP player.
2. Live amplified flute with interactive “tape” i.e. spatialization and the EQ
of the processed flute via
Max/MSP patch.
The performance should start in darkness; with the entrance of the live flute
lighting appears slowly.
Monologue 1 should be played in darkness also, while gradually the lighting
appears.
The level of the amplified flute should be the same as that of the processed
one.
In senza misura sections accidentals apply to each note except for note
repetitions.
In frame section tone may be played at any desired point inside the frame.
Small notes are independent of tempo fluctuations indicated and played "as fast
as possible".
